Diego Borges, WSET certified beer expert sharing his company BrewVentures Beer Experiences Manifesto — Yes, we started our journey sharing the learning and adventures of Diego Borges in the beer world in a blog format. However, as we dove deeper into the Thessaloniki craft beer scene, we identified gaps that our passion could help fill. We noticed that in a country lacking a deep-rooted beer tradition and dominated by industrial lagers, having the guts to work with craft beer is an **act of resistance**. We decided to step up and join this movement.

We started by developing ThessVentures Beer Experience as a fun walking activity visiting three iconic bars in the city center. We tested formats, prices, and group discounts, and we are very proud of our first creation.

BrewVentures highligthing that it can curate beer experiences in Thessaloniki for travelers or companies. Briding the gap between curious palates and independent brewers.

We then saw the opportunity to explore beer experiences as a relaxed and fun team-building activity for companies. We built the programs, managed the inventory, and delivered our first corporate activities with great success!

We are also committed to keep our certified beer expert up to date. We will be doing all the study, releasing your time to only enjoy the sips!

On the touristic side, we are leaving the 'beer geek' talk aside to focus on bridging the gap between curious travelers and independent craft beer brewers. We will soon be diversifying our offer with self-guided tours in distinct areas of Thessaloniki (stay tuned).

For the locals, we have plans to build a product 100% focused on Thessaloniki craft beer lovers. We’re in the bars often, and every time we see a local enter a pub and ask for a specific beer that is tucked away in the fridge, it brings us a great feeling of joy. People know the local beers, they show their support, and we want to fortify and consolidate this relationship. Keep an eye on us; we will be releasing more information soon.

Our mission is to democratize craft beer consumption. How do we do that? We curate local beer experiences and explain to whoever is listening why the best beer you can have is probably the one made in your neighborhood. Fresh beer is a gift! DRINK LOCAL!
