A Cold Pint and an Open Mind: Our New Self-Guided Thessaloniki Tour is Live

We’re still alive! haha I need to stop justifying the ghosting moments of this page. Yes, keeping social media and the blog up to date is still a challenge that this solopreneur needs to discover how to manage. Meanwhile, this time I will give you the option of picking the best excuse:

  • Two times sick in less than two months;

  • 2 weeks in Brazil, 1 week in Italy in the last two months (Yes, I take time for myself);

  • Writing, editing, recording and fine-tuning the very first VoiceMap tour of Thessaloniki;

  • Working on a very exciting project still to be announced;

  • All the options above HAHAHA

No excuses, but yes, we got through 3 of 4 items from this list, and we’re happy to announce the very first self-guided experience of Thessaloniki on VoiceMap is live. Of course, brought to you by your one and only BrewVentures Beer Experiences!

You can check out our new walking-experience route in Thessaloniki on this link (you can even listen to a preview). And no, it’s not just a digital copy of our premium in-person ThessVentures Beer Experience. Though, it still visits 2 of the 3 places from our live experience.

If you’re looking for the best things to do in Thessaloniki, let me tell you that since last year, at least 3 or 4 new craft beer places opened in the city. As a company focused on the promotion and celebration of the craft beer culture, we could not resist playing around and wondering about new routes for walking experiences in town. Ops… spoilers already given.

Therefore, in this self-guided tour, beyond visiting The ReHaB Pub and Utopia Taproom, we decided to add the brand-new LoveCraft Beers to our journey. LoveCraft is located at the heart of Aristotelous Square, one of the most iconic landmarks of Thessaloniki. They worked hard to satisfy your beer taste by having 20 rotating taps plus a selection of bottles/cans that go beyond 300 labels. Of course, including a fantastic showcase of independent Greek microbreweries. Definitely worth a visit!

However, this is not only a beer tour. I did my best to pick a few interesting stories and hidden gems that Thessaloniki holds in its streets, adding just enough context to make your self-guided journey a bit more cultural, informative, and fun. As always, there are also stories about our 3 featured bars, because in the end, they are the true trenches of the local craft beer resistance.

We strongly believe that a cold pint and an open mind is everything you need to discover a new city. No generic guidebooks. No massive tour groups. Just you, your headphones, a cold pint, and remarkable stories.

Be our guest! Try our new walking-experience and, please, give us your valuable feedback. See you around! Cheers!
